Etheric Sex & Owning Your Space

By Amy Leigh Mercree

When a sexual connection is strong between two people, etheric sex can happen. It is energetic sex — that is, sex with our spirits. Most commonly it happens with intention and conscious knowledge of one another. In those cases, couples who are apart connect energetically and emotionally through the medium of love. Their love for one another flows and etheric lovemaking can occur.

You can imagine it like angelic beings might make love. The human body can feel this in the usual physical ways or in more energetic ways, like pulsing energy and tingling sensations.

Rarely, etheric sex can occur between people who have yet to meet or have only met briefly. This is something under the jurisdiction of the two people’s Higher Selves. And in these cases Natural Law is very important to remember: Helping All, Harming None. Etheric sex must be completely consensual, otherwise it is a psychic attack of a very damaging kind. Attempted forced etheric sex is like an energetic assault.

However, something like this can only happen if you allow it on some level. If you clearly own your space, you fill your own auric field up and there are no openings or little holes for someone to try to get in, then no one can ever try to force any kind of energetic interaction on you whether you are aware of it or not. Remember, you own your space. You fill your being and the area surrounding you with your energy.

To affirm this you can state, “I own my space.”  When doing so, feel your energy fill your body and the area around in a sphere about five feet out in all directions. You can easily protect yourself from psychic attack. You are safe, by owning your space. Your ex, for example, can’t force you to have etheric sex. The creepy guy you met also cannot hurt you etherically. You are strong and full of power. You own your space.

Real etheric sex grows out of two people’s higher selves loving each other. So, people who believe they are having etheric sex with someone who does not want to have it with them are not having etheric sex. They are having sex with a projected fantasy of their own making — completely separate from the actual person. In essence, with a part of themselves they are representing in the image of this other person. The other person is not impacted by this at all, especially if they consciously own their space.

It is important we are conscious about our actions as well. Fantasy with a “hologram” of someone we are attracted to is fine. In that case we are acknowledging he is not really with us. We are just attracted to him or what he represents for us. Go ahead and think about George Clooney or whomever floats your boat.

On the other hand, anything more energetically potent towards, for example, an ex who dumped us, is unacceptable. How do you tell the difference?  Intention. With a harmless Clooney fantasy, your intention has nothing to do with him. It is about you feeling turned on and the actual guy or his energy body have nothing to do with it.

In the case of the ex who dumped you, your intention may be on any level from conscious to unconscious to influence the real him to feel your connection and exchange energy with you and possibly get back together. If you did this, no good can come of it. He might feel trauma from it, if he is aware of it. You would fare worse. Remember the part of natural law that states, everything you put out you receive back threefold? It’s the way the universe works. It is self-correcting. If there is any grey area about the fantasy, choose someone else, someone you’ve never met for example.

Etheric sex between two people’s Higher Selves grows out of love. Etheric Sex is best used to deepen connection between existing long-term, monogamous partners. And of course, having etheric sex is just like having regular sex, if you are married or in a monogamous relationship, ethically you may only have it with your partner.

Neale Donald Walsch Shares 3 Secrets to Ending Struggle

Neale Donald Walsch found himself with an amazing job in broadcasting at the age of 19, and by 21, he was a programming director. Walsch always made more money than he needed and had a lot of friends and loved ones. But by the age of 50, things suddenly turned south.

His health, career and relationships began to fall apart – all at the same time – and he found himself living on the street for a year. He got divorced, and had an automobile accident that left him with a broken neck. As he explains it, his life went “from bad to worse.” However, looking back on it now, he knows “it was the greatest thing that could ever happen to me,” he said during a live Webcast by Evolving Wisdom called “The 3 Secrets to Ending the Struggle and Making Your Life Work.”

One night, sitting in the dark, Walsch said he called out to God and asked what he had done to deserve this pain. He began to write down questions he wanted answers to, and suddenly he heard a voice over his right shoulder say, “Do you really want answers to all of these questions or are you just venting?” He answered, “yes,” and began to write all the thoughts that came into his mind.

“I wanted to write it all out because I wanted to have a record of it [since] the experience was so profound,” he said At the time Walsch thought he was just keeping a personal journal, but eventually the words he channeled became the best-selling book “Conversations With God.”

More importantly, Walsh began applying what he was learning in his own life, and it immediately began to change. He saw a “rapid shift” in his health, relationships and financial stability, and the same is true for many who have read his books and applied its teachings.

However, Walsch recently encountered a friend who was in need of help. She told him she had read his books, as well as those by other authors, and although she had tried to apply it to her life, nothing seemed to be working for her.

“She began to cry, and said she didn’t believe in this stuff anymore because nothing was working for her,” said Walsch. “That is how the three secrets of life emerged from me – the three biggest secrets I learned in my conversations with God.”

These secrets are:

  • Your growth process is complete.
  • There is nothing wrong in your life, nor has there ever been.
  • You are not alone.

Your Growth Process is Complete “Your growth was never necessary to begin with,” Walsh explained in the live webcast. “You were completely evolved when you came here at the moment of your birth. You were born in a state of utter perfection. If you want to see it, look into the eyes of a baby – nothing is wanted and nothing is needed.”

He continued: “The purpose of life is not to become more than you are, but to be more of who you were the moment you arrived.”

The problem is many of us believe the purpose of life is to evolve into something greater, or to acquire more wisdom, clarity or physical things. But there is nothing we have to do or be in order to express who we are, said Walsch.

“The process works in reverse. We are not here to acquire, but to give. Your job is not to get better and become more of who you are, but to demonstrate who you are right now so that God might know itself experientially through the expression of life in every one of its forms, including the form that we call you.”

What Walsch discovered was through giving to others what he wanted to receive – as though he already had it – he would then obtain what he wanted. “Be the Source” became the guiding principle of his life.

“I would give someone money even though I didn’t have much. I would say to myself, ‘what if I had enough and that was so much, I could give it away.’ So I began to give it away,” he said. “I did the same with relationships and compassion. I found people who wanted the same things I wanted and decided to be the source of it. Suddenly, I found those same things flowing through me.”

He discovered his purpose was not to have things for himself, but to give it away. “When your purpose is to give it away, the universe suppliers you with an unlimited amount of it because it knows there are so many people who are in need of it. That is the secret to all the masters from Jesus to Buddha. Their initial motivation was not to gather it all for themselves, but to be a flow through for others,” Walsch explained. “If you have 30 cents in your pocket, find someone that needs a dime and give it to them.”

Nothing is Wrong in Your Life, Nor Has it Ever Been – Walsch explained everything in our lives is going perfectly even though we think it is not. The secret here is to turn frustration into celebration because what we resist persists and what we look at through the eyes of the soul will disappear.

“Many will say ‘it’s nice to say its perfect, but it doesn’t feel perfect to me,’” Walsch commented. “Suppose you decided you were the light. God would say ‘great now how would you know you are the light if there was not darkness. I will surround you with darkness, but when you are in the darkness, don’t curse it – use it so you may know who you really are.’”

The best way to deal with darkness in life is to turn to gratitude. “Gratitude is the attitude,” Walsch said. “Your job is to be thankful or every circumstance and condition in life because its all perfectly created.”

He reminded listeners that if they want to express themselves as kindness, compassion, forgiveness and love, they need the opposite conditions first. If they are to practice forgiveness, they need someone to forgive.

When we judge, resist or make circumstances in our lives wrong, problems become insurmountable. But by accepting, and even being grateful for them, we have the opportunity to demonstrate who we really are at our core, Walsch explained.

Suffering will continue as long as we say we do not want it, or deny the gift it carries with it. We are pushing away the conditions that will help us. “Stop condemning the things that look like they are going wrong in your life and use them in the recreation of who you really are,” he said.

You are Not Alone – Most people believe they are alone, and that is what makes the circumstances of life intolerable, according to Walsch, who said emotional loneliness is one of the biggest problems facing humanity today.

“Almost any experience in life can be tolerated if we can imagine we are in a shared space with another,” he noted. “We are all one and never alone in the sense that everything else is a part of us. We know that at the cellular level. The impulse of life it to merge with other life. You are already merged but when you don’t know that, then you have an e-mer-gency.”

God, the divine, a higher power, or whatever name is given to it, exists everywhere and all the time. The awareness that divinity is with us, part of us, and surrounding us, allows us to feel we are not alone.

“The biggest insight is that God is always with me and never apart from me, and that I can talk to and communicate and access God, and I can be aware of and receive assistance any time I wish,” he explained.

Once we understand we are connected to all things, we will find a sense of peace, and it will be easier to deal with the challenging moments of life, said Walsch. We will look at life in a whole different way and find an inner serenity we never dreamed possible.

“These things can be found through meditation, prayer or other spiritual practice, but I’m talking about having those experiences in your every day life,” he said. “All of life turns out to be a meditation, and all of life turns out to be a prayer.”

Walsch explained that once we understand and apply these three secrets, all we want will be given to us. “God said, ‘your life has nothing to do with you. It has to do with everyone whose life you touched,” said Walsch.

His new book, “The Only Thing That Matters”, will be released this month – Oct. 16, 2012, but is available for preorder now.

Breaking the Attachment Cycle: Food and Things

By Lindsey Smith

We live in a society where we have major attachment issues. From our favorite sports teams, to the latest fashion trend, and even to our favorite musicians, we tend to feel a sense of attachment towards people, things, careers, money, food and so much more.

But when it comes to food, I noticed we have attachment issues towards dieting, junk food eating, and being an ideal weight. We think “going on a diet” will make us feel better post break-up. Or we think eating a sugary cookie will give us the satisfaction we are looking for in our jobs. And if we weigh 20 pounds less than we do today, we will somehow feel more accomplished and complete.

But do doing these things actually make you happy?

These attachment issues to food, and material items as well, stem from a place of fear rather than a place of happiness, love or peace. Attachment keeps us in a temporary “feel good” psychosis until the new object we buy or feeling we get wears off. Then we are left with those feelings we tried so hard to avoid — guilt, dissatisfaction and unworthiness.

In order to break the attachment cycle, we need to start detaching, which simply means “letting go.” Letting go will help shift your energy from “not good enough” to “plenty good enough.” It helps you see that outside items don’t actually bring you the peace and happiness you seek. But rather, happiness is actually found through simplicity.

Here are some simple ways to start letting go. Find one that resonates with you and start there. Each day, focus on letting go of one thing.

Let go of the need to be right.

Let go of the need to control every situation, including your food choices.

Let go the idea of restriction when it comes to food.

Let go of the drivers that make you angry on the road.

Let go of the sense that you need to go on a diet or be a certain number on the scale.

Let go of physical clothes or “stuff” you haven’t used in years.

Let go of past relationships that no longer serve you.

Let go of stress. Ask yourself, “Will this matter in a day, a week, a year?”

I think you get the idea. The more you can let go, the more good you allow to enter your life, and the more peaceful you feel — mind, body, and spirit.

Editor’s Advice: Gratitude & “The Magic” Book

Recently I accompanied a friend on a trip to the local library, and while I was waiting for her to check out, a book jumped out at me from a nearby shelf. Written by the author of the best-selling book “The Secret,” this book was called “The Magic,” and I had been meaning to review it for Elevated Existence. It was surrounded by books in all different categories, and since I know there are no accidents, I picked it up, handed it to my friend and asked, “Can you add this to the books you are taking out?”

I’ll admit, it sat in a pile on my desk for a while, and I finally picked it up because I knew it was due back soon at the library. I realized the book offered an introduction of about 20 pages, and the remainder was broken up into 28 chapters – each offering a new gratitude exercise to be done consecutively over the next 28 days. Knowing the act of gratitude immediately raises our vibration, and activates the law of attraction to bring us more of what we are grateful for – I decided to give it a try!

I even called a friend and asked if she wanted to it with me. I said, “What is there to lose. If we concentrate on gratitude consistently for 28 days, something good has to come from it.” She agreed, and told another friend, so the three of us embarked on this journey of gratitude. What we discovered is … this gratitude stuff works!!

The exercises range in topics from health and career, to money and relationships – each day applying a specific gratitude exercise in one of these areas. And it didn’t take long to start seeing results!

Within the first week, my friend did a relationship exercise where you find three pictures of people you want to improve your relationship with and find five things to be grateful about them specifically. She chose someone she was estranged from, but missed. That afternoon, out of the blue, the friend contacted her to get together!

Here are some other things we noticed in the 28 days:

  • I got unexpected checks in the mail totaling more than $500
  • My relationships improved immensely with those who I concentrated on during the practice
  • One friend got free products in the mail – a coffee maker and coffee grinder – both things she had on her list to buy, but they just showed up for free
  • One friend was concerned with how she was going to pay for a party she was giving her child, and she got a temporary job opportunity that lasted three days – just enough to pay for what she needed.

These are all exciting things, but honestly, the best part of consistently going back to gratitude is this – you begin to feel good about every area of your life. Things that would have bothered you in the past don’t seem to faze you anymore, and even when you face a disappointment, you bounce back much quicker than before. Gratitude has the ability to instantly pull you up – it lifts your vibration, your heart, your mind and your soul. To me, there is no unexpected check or free product that can even come close to that.

The three of us who started this experiment recently started round 3 of our 28 days – and we have been joined by many others through word-of-mouth. I wanted to share this with all of you loyal readers, in hopes that you might give gratitude a bigger role to play in the theater of your life. This book is certainly a way to start.

Blessings, love & gratitude,

Practicing Tai Chi May Lead to a Longer Life, Study Shows

Medical research shows tai chi can be beneficial for congestive heart failure, Parkinson’s disease, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, depression and anxiety, but new research shows it may also effect DNA, promoting a longer life, according to an article published in the Chicago Daily Herald and written by Dr. Patrick B. Massey, medical director for complementary and alternative medicine for the Alexian Brothers Health System.

In a recent Australian medical study, published in the medical journal Evidence — Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, researchers looked at DNA methylation activity, which is one of the mechanisms by which DNA is able to maintain itself, in people who practiced tai chi. The rates in a group of woman between 45 and 80 years old who had been practicing for three years or more were compared to those who never practiced.

The researchers discovered the ability to methylate DNA in the group practicing tai chi was significantly better than the group who never practiced this form of exercise. Their conclusions suggested regular practice of tai chi may result in enhanced longevity, Massey explained in the article.

Activate the Light Within You

By Michelle L. Casto

The master teacher Jesus said: “I am the light of the world” and “You are the Light.” Light is attractive. You too have a light that attracts – an inner light. Some people shine with joy, while others emit a ray of hope. Some glow with love and other shine with positive energy and enthusiasm.

You can be an inviting light and turn your light on to be someone else’s ray of sunshine. Share a smile. Use words of encouragement. Write a sweet note. Practice random acts of kindness. Give a hug. When you allow people to see your bright light and bask in your warm radiance, you reflect more of your divinity.

The 16th century Sufi poet Rumi wrote:

“For ages you have come and gone, courting delusion.
For ages you have run from the pain and forfeited the ecstasy.
So come, return to the root of root of your own soul.
Although you appear in earthly form
Your essence is pure Consciousness.
You are the fearless guardian of Divine Light.
So come, return to the root of the root of your own soul.”

So you have some big problems, right? You may have tried to fix them before with little result. I have good news. No matter how big or daunting a situation you find yourself in, you can transform it. You can come from Source, which is a loving, creative force. If you think like God and be like God, you realize the incredible power you have to create.

The best-selling author Dr. Wayne Dyer said: “Keep your thoughts centered on light and what you want, rather than on dark and what you don’t want. Practice seeing the light within you. Bring light thoughts to every circumstance of darkness. It is so common to do precisely the opposite when you do, you attract more illusions of the dark.”

Remember you are part of Source, which is Light and Love. Yurimen said: “Everything has a bright and dark side to it. Those who see only the dark side of things bring sorrow and pain upon themselves. To those who are able to see at the same time the bright side of it, everyday is a good day.”

Wake Up!
It’s time to become conscious about who you are and what you want out of life. A key activity in adulthood is looking at the basic beliefs running your life and ask: “Do these beliefs work? Do they bring me happiness?”

Often, the answer is no. You may have adopted the belief under duress and it is no longer appropriate. If your life is not working, it is time to identify limiting beliefs and replace them with life affirming ones. So begins your education in spiritual wisdom.

Right now, a shift in consciousness is happening. We are graduating from the “old school” of living that was about education for personal gain, and money as the motivator, to the “new school” of enlightenment for humanity’s evolution, and Truth as the inspiration.

We are moving out of the darkness of unconsciousness, which is fear-based, closed, and mired in negative emotions, to the light of consciousness, which is love-based, courageous, open and overflowing with positive emotions.

Light and dark cannot cohabitate, so when you turn the light on, it dissipates the darkness. You can activate your own soul’s code that contains your manifest destiny by simply choosing to stop looking outside of yourself for salvation and start looking within.

The source within you manages energy to draw to you what you want. Who you are is light. You are one with the source of creation; therefore you are a creator. Source is unlimited; therefore you are unlimited. Awaken from the things that scare you by shining a light on them. Scary ideas keep you stuck and living a mediocre, small, limited life. Inspirational ideas free you to live a great, big, unlimited life.

You can have more of what you want. You only have to believe it and ask for it. There is an important reminder that God wants you to hear: anything you can imagine is yours to be, do, and have. It’s all there for the creating. What’s inside you is what creates what’s out there. You are in control. You create experiences, be they good or bad. You do it all. You are it all. You may as well get used to using divine powers to manifest what you want instead of what you don’t want.

The author of Power vs. Force, Dr. Hawkins said: “What is meant by the term ‘soul’ is the capacity to experience life.” Are you experiencing life to the fullest extent possible and expressing your greatest potential? If not, working with a professional coach can assist you to sift through the dark silt of life and forge a bright, soul-fulfilled life.

You are a powerful soul with divine powers, such as the ability to give and receive love, manifest your desires, think analytically, experience feelings, and understand and learn your unique lessons. You are completely unique unto yourself – on the entire planet, there is only one light like yours.

You are the greatest miracle in the world. Activate. Be divine and shine your unique bright light to the world now.
