New Caroline Myss CD – Your Creative Soul: Expressing Your Authentic Voice

We are all creators on some level, and this creativity longs for a voice.

Bestselling author Caroline Myss joins with actress Sandra Joseph, best known for her role as Christine in Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera, to investigate the relationship between spirituality and creativity, and why it’s so important for us to honor the creative impulses of our soul in a new CD “Your Creative Soul: Expressing Your Authentic Voice”.

Myss walks listeners through the energetic anatomy of the creative process by chakra, while Joseph explains the most common blocks to creativity, and introduces the six doorways that lead to it. Together they explore re-evaluating our relationship with fear, what happens when we ignore or push away the soul’s call for creativity, and the key to creative authenticity.

How to Use Color to Amplify Intention

by Margaret Ann Lembo

The unknown secrets of color are right in front of you. They are in the full spectrum of the rainbow and in everything you do daily. Every day you choose clothes to wear, food to eat, and make a variety of choices that involve color.

What would happen if you started to make all your choices with conscious intention using the seven secrets of color? You would transform your life into one that is charmed, relaxed, flowing and full of grace and ease. All it takes is a little knowledge about the secrets of color, along with focus and intention.

Intention is established easily by being mindful of what you want in your life. Many of us are clear on what we don’t like or don’t want, and that’s where we allow our intention to lie. Unfortunately, focusing attention on what we don’t want gets us more of exactly that – what we do not want!

Each color is associated with the color, vibration and scent of the human body energy centers on a mental, physical, spiritual and emotional level. The use of color, gemstones and essential oils employs your vision and sense of smell to maintain your focus on your intentions. In the words of Paul J. Meyer, “Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass.” You can use the tools to maintain your attention on your intention!

There are seven main chakras that are also the colors of the rainbow. These energy centers are responsible for regulating the functions of many levels of our being, and each chakra has a different color associated with it.

Below is a list of the chakras, and the color and gemstones associated with them:

1st Chakra — The first chakra is the Root Chakra. Its basic color is red. This energy center is located at the base of the spine and is responsible for our basic needs. This is where we store vital life force and the energy to provide food, shelter and water. Money is strongly associated with this center. A gemstone for the root is garnet.

2nd Chakra — The second chakra is the Navel or Sacral Chakra. Its main color is orange and is the center for reproduction and creativity. We store emotional memories in this center. It is a center that allows us to create and take action. A gemstone for the navel is carnelian.

3rd Chakra — The third chakra is the Solar Plexus Chakra and located at the solar plexus. The main color associated with the chakra is yellow, and it’s the place of joy, personal power, self-confidence, mental clarity, and the ability to shine our light. Experiences of verbal abuse that reduced our self-esteem as well as kudos and praise that raised our self-confidence are stored at this chakra. A gemstone for the solar plexus is citrine and raises self-esteem.

4th Chakra — The fourth chakra is the Heart Center. This chakra is green and/or pink, located at the center of our chest, and is the bridge between the lower three chakras of the physical mundane world and the upper chakras of the spiritual world. This is where our true self resides – the Love That We Are – how we integrate that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Gemstones for the heart are green aventurine or rose quartz.

5th Chakra — The fifth chakra is the Throat Center. This chakra is blue of the sky or turquoise. This center is located at the throat and provides the ability to communicate and express ourselves. It includes writing, speaking, singing, cooking, and the many ways we express who and what we are. A stone for the throat center is aquamarine.

6th Chakra — The sixth chakra is the Third Eye Center. This chakra is indigo blue. It is located in the center of our forehead. This is the location of our ability to see the unseen, know the unknown and hear what is not being said. It is the place of intuition, knowing and dreaming. A stone for the third eye is lapis lazuli.

7th Chakra — The seventh chakra is the Crown Chakra. The color associated with the crown ranges from golden white light to a violet flame, the place of higher intuition, channeling, and the connection with Divine Consciousness. It is the place where our connection to miracles resides. Some gemstones for the crown chakra are selenite, amethyst, and clear quartz.

Make the conscious connection with the color, gemstones and scents in your life, and pair it with a positive thought and the intention of creating a happy, prosperous, peaceful and joy-filled life.

Guilt and the Law of Attraction

By Sherry Winn

None of us would want to attack ourselves because what person loves the outcome of beating up on himself, right?

Most people would link the word “attack” to a physical act like slamming a fist into a wall or kicking a door. Others might think of an addiction to drugs or alcohol, or something a little more innocuous like an addiction to chocolate or caffeine. We might all agree these acts are labeled as attacks against ourselves.

But what about guilt? Do you consider guilt as attack against yourself?

Guilt has been viewed as something positive. It creates the needed punishment so we won’t choose the wrong path again. But is it the way to forgiveness, or is it simply of means of re-punishing ourselves and keeping ourselves stuck in misery for something we’ve already learned?

Guilt is the result of believing we are not worthy. Standing in guilt we cannot reach positive vibrations. We are separate and disconnected from love. Love is the highest vibration we can seek, and guilt exists on the low vibrational end of the spectrum.

A Course In Miracles states, “What guilt has wrought is ugly, fearful and very dangerous. See no illusion of truth and beauty there.”

We want to avoid negative emotions because we know they are the opposite of all we desire. When we feel bad, our energy vibrates at the wrong frequency causing us to attract the very thing we want to avoid. We create what we expect and invite those experiences into our lives. When we expect punishment, which is what guilt is, we experience it.

Recently, I was working with a young man, Justin, who is on the journey to becoming a professional baseball player. He understands the power of the law of attraction and works diligently to stay in alignment with his dream, but he also allows his guilt to attack his desires.

Even though Justin leads the league in batting, he began to doubt his talents. He said, “I feel if something is off in my life, I psyche myself out, which is my ego telling me I will not play well because I’ve made a mistake. The guilt sends me into a funk of unworthiness and I lose my ability to swing a bat.”

This is the power of the ego. It attacks with guilt and creates fear even when facts point in the opposite direction. The ego attacks our faith and shoves us out of positive vibration. As soon as Justin allowed guilt to enter his mind, his swing of the bat diminished.

How did Justin realign himself with positive vibrations to get his swing back? He took the same steps you can take:

1. Remind yourself the ego wants us in guilt and wishes us to bow down to a lack of faith.
2. The ego is the opposite of all you are.
3. You come from Source Energy.
4. As Source Energy, you are entitled to all good things.
5. Strength is the truth about you; weakness is an illusion.
6. When you fall into the ego’s trap of illusion, you are not aligning yourself with who you really are.
7. You are Source Energy and a creator in your life.

When we allow guilt to rule us and to shove our faith of goodness out, we attack ourselves. We create separation from who we were meant to be. Once separated, we can no longer feel positive vibration. Positive vibration is alignment with ALL that is good.

You came to this life experience to re-remember who you really are and to align yourself with all that is good. You are a creator and as such, you get to choose where to live your life. Guilt is a choice as is love. Love is connecting to your desires while guilt is attacking yourself. You came from love; it is your origin. Let go of guilt to experience your desires.

San Diego International Airport Opens Meditation Room

The San Diego International Airport joins other airports who have began offering relaxation and meditation areas to travelers by opening a new ‘Meditation Room’ in Terminal 2, FutureTravelExperience.com reported. For example, Helsinki Airport has a Relaxation Area and Chicago O’Hare has a Yoga Room.

The San Diego County Regional Aiport Authority refers to the nondenominational space as ‘The Spirit of Silence’ or ‘Reflection Room’ and it is located the new facility post-security. The new space, created by Seattle-based artist, Norie Sato, is a dedicated space for people to contemplate, meditate and pray away from the busy airport environment, the report stated.

Sato told NBC San Diego the space is meant to evoke “the undefinable and changing edge” between water and sky, which can be seen throughout the space with its use of color and design.
