Morgana Rae: How to Make Money Fall in Love With You

Does money love you? Or is your relationship with money a mess? Known as the world’s leading relationship with money coach, Morgana Rae knows how to get at the heart of why money is not flowing effortlessly into people’s lives, and she joined Elevated Existence Magazine founder, Tammy Mastroberte, on the Living an Elevated Existence Mind, Body & Soul Summit to share her 6-step process to reach financial alchemy.

“Money is a funny thing because it’s completely invented. We just made it up. To say that purse is worth $10 and this other purse is worth $10,000 – completely made up,” she said on the live call. “So the reason it can be so sticky and such a problem and a challenge in people’s lives is, while money itself is made up, to us it’s is our worth and how much we are valued by others. It’s what we deserve, and what we are allowed to have.”

How we feel about ourselves is very much tied to money, along with our right to exist, Rae explained. We need money to eat and have shelter from the elements, and these are part of our existence. When we don’t have money for these things, it’s as if we don’t have the right to exist.

“At the deepest level [money] represents love because the source of what we were told we are worth, and the source of food and protection came from our parents originally,” Rae noted. “It’s as if our parents were our earliest money.”

The root of our issues with money lies with the hidden blocks in our unconscious mind, and these need to be brought to the surface and changed in order to heal our mind and heart when it comes to money.

“If you’ve got a giant ship and you have a captain … the captain doesn’t determine where the ship goes. It’s the crew below the deck,” Rae said on the call. “So if the captain wants to go to Europe, but the crew wants to go to Tahiti, the ship is going to Tahiti. And if you want to make money, but your crew below the surface believes that money is dangerous, represents evil values, or it’s a source of pain – for instance, every time you said ‘I can’t afford it,’ money became the bad guy – then money is the obstacle between you and what you want to do or be. We need to get the crew and the captain on the same team.”

What she teaches is not the law of attraction, and in fact, she has coached many people who have tried the vision boards and affirmations, and didn’t find the help they needed, she said on the call. What she teaches is “financial alchemy.”

“Financial alchemy is the transmutation of lead into gold. It’s lead into spiritual goal, which means we can go into those dark feelings and make them something of infinite value,” Rae explained. “Your finances are not your cause, they are a symptom and it’s a symptom of your relationship with life. When we change your relationship with money, not only do we change that situation, but it can be so rapid, other things consistently happen. People’s love lives get better, their family relationships get better and their disease get better.”

Rae teaches people how to turn their “money monster” into what she calls a “Money Honey of Abundance,” and she shared the question her coach asked years ago to create a turning point in her relationship with money.

“He asked me, ‘If your money was a person, who would your money be?’ and I saw instantly who my money would be at that time. And it was a big scary, dirty, violent biker who caused fights and terrified me,” she said. “When I saw that biker in my minds eye, and I felt what I felt, I could see if I were at a live event and saw this guy, my eye would be on him the whole time to create maximum distance between the two of us. And that is what I was doing with money in real life. I had my eye on it the whole time, and I was keeping maximum distance, and I never knew it until I made money a person.”

This process is how we can make the unconscious conscious. We start by looking for the pain, which can be a person’s “money story,” but that won’t be the root cause, said Rae. The root cause is always the issues behind the money, and sometimes it is completely unrelated to money.

“It could be the kids who teased you for being fat, or some embarrassing or shameful or horrific moment in your childhood,” she noted. “I met a gentlemen whose father committed suicide, and for him, money had killed his father all those years ago. His money was a murderer. He didn’t know that, and when I told him this it opened him up. We were walking back to the class we were taking together and he lifted up his bag and found $20.”

6-Step Process to Heal Money Issues
The root cause of repelling or protecting ourselves from money always has to do with things that made us feel unworthy, unlovable or unsafe, Rae said on the call. While many people who feel they don’t have the money they need believe that once their bank account grows, their problems will go away, but this is not true. The underlying problems are still the same, she noted.

“I have coached hundreds of clients who have become the bank to their friends, and they become the target because people are always wanting their money, and always wanting something from them. They are not being loved they are being used,” Rae shared. “I think we all have an intuition that this can happen and on the lower end we protect ourselves from wealth because we don’t want that. We also don’t want to be these money addicts who are constantly willing to destroy the planet for short term profit. So we make these unconscious decisions that money is difficult or gets in the way of love.”

But to uncover our unique issues we need to get to our personal blocks, and Rae designed a six-step, time-tested process to help.

Step 1 – Uncover the Root Cause – This is where we dig deep into our personal issues because what Rae calls our “money monster” is never about money. Its about wounds, broken promises, and the things that made us feel the lowest at some point in our life, she said.

Step 2 – Personifying the Cause – We need to make it a person because that makes the relationship real, and also means we can change it, Rae explained. “A person is not a dark cloud or wispy smoke, or a big rock or a fire pit. I’ve had clients who wanted that to be their money monster and it doesn’t work. It needs to have a person hood, with eyes, thoughts, and things that you can relate to. The more human, the better, because it makes it more real. You want it to be all bad and all terrifying,” she said.

Step 3 – Get Rid of the Money Monster – We need to get rid of the monster by whatever means necessary, and the longer we have had this relationship with money, the harder and more scary it can be to let go. But it has to be done.

“My money monster was a scary, terrifying biker, and I knew that if that was my relationship with money, I could never have it because of the way that it felt. So I got rid of the biker,” said Rae. “It can be very scary to get rid of it, which is why the monster has to be really, really bad so you have no choice to get rid of it.”

Once it is gone, it can feel strange and unfamiliar, but the goal is to replace it with something new.

Step 4 – Replace the Monster – Rae asked herself who would she wanted in her life so much that she would want this person even though it was money. And this should not have anything to do with what we can get from this person because that is conditional love, she said. That gives away our power, which is another money monster.

“In my imagination, what showed up was this tall, dark, handsome man in an tuxedo carrying a bouquet of flowers – and I could feel how much he loved me, which was weird to feel like money wanted to woo me. And I felt how much I had broken his heart over the years by pushing him away,” she said, noting she does not teach people to create a Money Honey who will do all the work for them. This is about empowerment, and a partnership.

Step 5 – Speaking with Your Money Honey – We should ask our “Money Honey” what he or she needs from us so they can stay with us, and feel as through it is a real person.

Step 6 – Take Action – We need to act on the directions from our “Money Honey,” which is sometimes about balancing our checkbook or collecting money that is owed, said Rae.

The Law of Action (in the Law of Attraction)

By Sherry Winn

There is one aspect of the law of attraction that many people refuse to talk about, and that is the aspect of ACTION.

It is true you must first work on your mind before you can believe you can achieve anything, but the belief in itself is not enough. You have to take action on the ideas and dreams that have been cultivating in your mind.

The first step is intention – knowing what you want and having the intention you will get it, but how many people have you met who had the intention of doing something and never took the first step? They tell you they want to be the next Michael Jordan, Lady Gaga, or Ernest Hemingway, but they spend all their time daydreaming and none of their time taking action steps.

The most important step to take once you have your mind attracting what you want, and you’ve worked on your internal language, is to take action. Once you have birthed an idea, you have given it creation in the universe. It is there for others to also find and view. If you fail to take action on it, somebody else will, and you lose your opportunity.

Those who found success utilizing the law of attraction are those who spent time moving toward their dreams. One of the best ways to move toward your dreams is to write them down. Something magical happens when you write dreams down on paper. The dream gets a life of it’s own. It becomes a possibility that can stare back at you, and ask what you’re going to do about it. The act of writing gives you a permanent record, shows you are serious, keeps you accountable and helps you work things through.

When you write down your dreams, include the following components:

1. Be specific.
2. Include a deadline.
3. Begin with the end in mind.
4. Write down goals in time increments. Write down 10-year, 5-year, 3-year, and 1-year goals.
5. Write down why you want to accomplish your dreams. What is the compelling reason you have behind reaching your dreams?
6. Proclaim your dreams. Affirm you dreams. Post your dreams.

Writing your dreams down is an action step. You have made a promise to yourself. The next step is to take action and move toward your dreams. How?

Look back at the dreams you’ve written down. Take one of them and break it down even further. What do you want to accomplish in the next 30 days? Write down what you need to do every day to reach your 30-day goal.

Then, take action. Do something even if it doesn’t feel like it is taking you closer to what you really desire. Move. You might make mistakes, but this is part of the process. You learn and grow from mistakes, which move you forward.

Here are some other things to keep in mind:

1.  Take responsibility for your dreams.
2.  Continue to work on your thoughts because how you think about things really matters.
3.  Make your reason behind your dreams big enough that you are willing to move beyond obstacles.
4.  Commit to studying and learning every day.
5.  Act as if success is certain.
6.  Share your dreams.
7.  Stretch your mind and see all possibilities.

When you train your mind to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want, you are utilizing the law of attraction. This allows you to dream and to believe you can achieve. It provides you with the faith needed to take action. What remains is taking the first step and then the next and then the next until you are not just thinking about your dreams, but you are living them.

Donna Schwenk: Healing with Probiotic/Cultured Foods for Overall Health & Wellness

Many of us have heard the benefits of probiotics on the body – especially the gut – and may even be taking a daily supplement to maintain the good bacteria needed. But there are also amazing probiotic foods that contain beneficial bacteria (much more than supplements) and these can be easily incorporated into our diets to revitalize all areas of health.

Cultured food expert, Donna Schwenk has dedicated her life to helping people learn how to do this! She joined Elevated Existence Magazine founder, Tammy Mastroberte, as part of the Living an Elevated Existence Mind, Body & Soul Summit to share the story of how she healed herself and her family with probiotic or cultured foods, and how others can do the same by making them easily in their own homes.

“Thirteen years ago, I was 41 and pregnant with my third child. She was born prematurely, and I had diabetes and high blood pressure after she was born, which made me feel terrible,” she shared live on the call.

After discovering kefir at a health food store, she began to give it to her baby, and found the baby gained 4 pounds in one month, the color came back into her cheeks, and she began sleeping through the night. So Schwenk began to drink it herself, and was even more amazed at her own results.

“I started drinking it and after three to four weeks I noticed my blood pressure had gone down to normal and my blood sugars had normalized,” she shared. “But it really wasn’t so much that which changed me. It was the way I felt. I felt a sense of wellbeing I had never known. It was like the world looked different to me. I felt different. I felt happier.”

She eventually began to research cultured foods, and found what she calls the Trilogy of Kefir, Kombucha & Cultured Vegetables. Using these three foods, she also helped her 16-year-old daughter heal from IBS and food allergies.

Cultured or probiotic foods are also known as fermented foods, but those in stores, like pickles or sauerkraut, are made with vinegar so they can stay on the store shelves longer. Therefore, they no longer have probiotic benefits to them, Schwenk explained, noting the process of culturing is known as lacto-fermentation.

“It’s where you put a culture in vegetables, milk products or non-dairy milk products, and it infuses them with good bacteria by submerging them underwater or putting the culture in the jar,” she said. “There is so much good bacteria in a culture that it dominates the environment and creates billions of probiotics, and then when you eat it, it not only preserves the food, it preserves you.”

We are made of 99 percent good or harmless bacteria, but most of us focus on the bad bacteria. When we begin to incorporate cultured foods into our diet, we can begin building up the good bacteria, which allows the body to do its job, including digestion and much more.

“When you eat these foods, it allows your body to work and do things like boost your immune system, heal your gut and reduce inflammation – which is what happened with me reducing my blood pressure. The things that started happening to me were so astounding that I spent the last 13 years really teaching people how to do it and watching the miracles it performed,” said Schwenk.

Outperforming Supplements
Schwenk told listeners she took probiotic supplement for many years, and sees a huge difference with eating the cultured foods. Not only do the foods have a much higher level of good bacteria, but also when made fresh, it ensures the bacteria is present.

“I don’t think [supplements] are bad, they are just not as effective. The reason is bacteria need food to stay alive, so depending on how much food is in the capsule that will determine the shelf life of that probiotic – and you never know that. You never know how long it has been sitting in the store, if it has been refrigerated, or how much food is in there,” she explained.

She also explained the body is designed so when we take probiotic supplements, there are acids in the stomach that kill bacteria, and there may not be enough that make it to all the parts of the body which need it. With the food, there are higher amounts, and they are protected so it effects the body more profoundly.

“I found foods were a million times more effective then the supplements, a lot less expensive, and I didn’t need as much because it really helped in a much more beneficial way,” she noted. “You have to take bottles and bottles to get what you can get by taking in small amounts of cultured foods, and I could tell that by what happened to me when I started eating them. I was taking probiotic supplements and was not seeing the benefits I did when I started eating fermented foods.”

cultured_food_life_bookThe Trilogy
Once Schwenk began consuming kefir, kombucha and cultured vegetables, she saw a huge difference in her life, and continues to see the difference they make for others because each one had its own good bacteria.

Kefir – This is referred to as the “champagne of yogurt,” said Schwenk. It is similar to yogurt, but creamier and pourable, depending on how long it sits in the fermenting process. But the biggest difference is how much more beneficial it is in terms of probiotics.

“The difference is yogurt is a left turning bacteria and kefir is a right turning bacteria. What that means is, yogurt is food for the colonies that live inside of you, but kefir is the colony,” she said. “Yogurt has 7 to 10 good bacteria’s and homemade kefir has 50 plus.”

Kefir can also be made with almond or coconut milk for a non-dairy option, and Schwenk has also made walnut kefir.

Kombucha – This is a fermented tea and has been around around for thousands of year, originating in China. It is very low in sugar because the sugar is eaten by the probiotics, and it’s available all over the country. There are more and more brands entering the market then every before, and many bottled drinks can be found in the refrigerated section of health food and mainstream grocery stores.

“It’s a powerful liver detoxer, and it’s really loaded with B vitamins and all kinds of good yeast,” Schwenk said. “People don’t realize good yeast is important. All we talk about is bad yeast like candida, but you need good yeast to help control the bad yeast.”

There is a special yeast in kombucha. which is the number one probiotic used worldwide in hospitals, Schwenk explained, and can help people get off of addictive things like soda. And because it is loaded with B vitamins, it helps with the adrenals, providing us with energy and detoxing the body from heavy metals and plastic.

“You may notice when you first start drinking it that you have symptoms of detoxification. One of the ways the body detoxes is through the skin, and it may produce more body odor, but it goes away,” she explained. “I don’t even use deodorant anymore because I have so much good bacteria.”

Cultured Vegetables – To create these, we need to cut up vegetables and put them in a fermenting or canning jar. Submerge them under water and put a culture in them. This creates good bacteria, and eats out the sugars. Almost any vegetable can be cultured, including cabbage, tomatoes, green beans and broccoli.

“A spoonful of cultured vegetables is a powerful thing. It helps you digest the other foods you eat, and helps you digest proteins because it has enzymes and bacteria that work like a SWAT team inside you to clean out pathogens and viruses,” Schwenk shared. “It’s such a wonderful thing for healing your gut if you have food allergies. All of these foods are good for that, but especially cultured vegetables.”

They can last for months in the refrigerator and just one tablespoon with lunch and dinner is enough to make a huge improvement, according to Schwenk.

“You start feeling good so you will reach for them again and again. You don’t have to believe me, you just have to try them. The foods will convince you. I’m just the messenger here,” she said.

EE_Summit_560x90

Food Allergies
In her book, “Cultured Food for Life: How to Make and Serve Delicious Probiotic Foods for Better Health and Wellness,” Schwenk shares information about how eating cultured foods has helped many people rid themselves of food allergies, and she knows first hand because this is what happened to her daughter.

“My 16-year-old daughter was getting allergic to every food on the planet and every week the foods were growing that she was allergic to. But it’s not the food. It’s not the wheat or the diary. It’s that our guts are so damaged, they don’t’ know how to digest them. Antibiotics have wreaked havoc, along with the processed foods we eat, so our guts don’t have what they need to do their job, digest the food and send it to the parts of the body that need it because our guts don’t have these types of bacteria in them anymore,” Schwenk explained.

However, eating these cultured foods and taking in the good bacteria allows the gut to heal, and within a year, her daughter no longer had food allergies. Schwenk also started seeing healing like this happen with a lot of her friends – many who had severe allergies.

“Food allergies is a symptom. We think sickness and disease means there is a problem, but really they are just symptoms. The body is trying to get your attention and say something is wrong, and we want to mask it with drugs,” she noted. “ It’s not bad to remove the things you are allergic to, but over time the body will heal and you won’t be allergic to them anymore.”

Lisa Barnett: Clear Karma, Soul Contracts & Vows Through Your Akashic Record

The Akashic Records contain all the information of an individual soul’s journey from all it’s lifetimes — each thought, feeling, action and deed from every lifetime is stored here. Each of us have our own Masters, Teachers and Beings of Light that keep track of the information for us, and we can access them to answer personal questions about our current life, and our past lives that may be effecting us today.

Lisa Barnett, founder of the Akashic Knowing School of Wisdom and an internationally recognized teacher with more than 20 years of experience in the spiritual healing forum joined Elevated Existence Magazine founder Tammy Mastroberte as part of the Living an Elevated Existence Mind, Body and Soul Summit to talk about the Akashic Records, and the information they can provide.

“The way I see the Akashic Record is as the information arm of divine source. It’s a vibrational body of wisdom where everything is stored,” said Barnett. “A lot of people see it as a library where each book is representing a lifetime, but the truth is, the akashic field is infinite and everywhere. It’s not housed anywhere.”

Everything is recorded her – our thoughts, feelings, every past life, our intentions, what we have come into this world to do, what we’ve succeeded at, what we are ready to do to grow, our contracts with other people and more, said Barnett, noting all living beings have an Akashic Record, and so do our businesses.

“Your business is not a living being, but it does have the vibration of you and the people you come together to create that business with,” she said.

By accessing this information, we can uncover things about our current life, including why we may find ourselves stuck or held back for some reason. Many times it is a memory of a past life we are carrying with us. For example, many people on a spiritual path have been healers, doctors, acupuncturists or herbalists in a past life, and may have been punished during the witch hunts or the inquisition, according to Barnett.

“A good example is someone who wants to be out there working as a hands on healer, a Reiki master, and they want to bring their gifts of the light to the world, but are finding it challenging to go out there and share the information. They feel held back or are shy about it,” said Barnett. “I will often see they had a couple of different lifetimes in which they were either killed for the work they did or hunted in the witch hunts or the inquisitions and were harmed, killed and tortured. Even herbalists were called witches and killed. Now they are afraid to be seen.”

Also, many times we make vows on our deathbed, saying “I will never do that again,” and the emotions are very intense and stay with us into future lives because it is filled with trauma and pain, Barnett noted.

“These vows we make on our deathbed can really hold us back lifetime after lifetime. Some of it is death pictures, where we have these memories, even if they are unconscious, of being tortured, killed or run out of town, and no one will accept us,” she said.

By recalling these issues and bringing them to the conscious mind, it can help us open up energetically and release the constriction holding us back. In essence, it creates a shift within us so we can move forward in this life.

“What our souls want to do is awaken. They really do want to elevate and awaken, and that is why we come to planet Earth,” Barnett shared. “We love to grow, and we love to learn. As a soul we see it as a big playground. We pick people to meet and things to do, and it’s about how quickly we can remember who we really are and awaken to the divine beings we truly are. Accessing the Akashic Records is allowing you to do that with more ease. These beings of light are here to support you – just like your angels. They are just sitting there waiting for us to access them so they can help us.”

Soul Contracts
Most of us write hundreds of soul contracts before we enter into a new life – both small ones, or support contracts, and big ones like those with a life partner. We choose our parents, siblings, the children we will have, and romantic relationships, before we come to the planet, although we don’t complete all of them, according to Barnett.

“We often will write contracts that never come to fruition, so its not unusual for me to see a 40 year old woman who had contracts to have three children, but she never had children,” she noted. “Sometimes people may feel a little guilty about it and want to know if that is O.K. They decided not to have children because of their life circumstance, and it’s absolutely fine if we don’t finish all of those contracts. It’s actually not possible to finish all the contracts we write. We set ourselves up to have a big variety because we don’t know. We come here and it’s still all about free will and choice.”

Often our contracts are in place to help us grow as a soul, or to assist someone else in their soul growth. For example, the soul who picks an alcoholic father may have a support contract with the soul to help him remember who he is and get sober, said Barnett. However, it may not happy because the vibration of the planet is “very dense and we forget who we are,” she noted.

“Most of us are not really clear on a day-to-day basis about the contracts we have written, so the father may not ever get sober and he may not remember. The contract may not really play out the way you two thought it would when you wrote it. But if you can hold him in love and know the truth of who he is as a soul, you are sending him really profound energetic healing by being love and forgiveness, and for seeing him for who he truly is. That alone is you fulfilling your part of the contract even if he never fulfills his side,” she said.

The lesson here is that many of us feel we are doing work, but our partners or family member is not doing their part. However, we can do our part and complete things even if the other person doesn’t, according to Barnett.

“The other person may go on and have a similar experience again, but it probably won’t be with you [if you’ve done your work],” she explained.

Also, we don’t always pick a family for the parents. Sometimes it’s for the siblings, grandparents, aunt or uncle, and sometimes we will pick a family for the genetics or the location we want to be born in.

Clearing Karma
Karma is not about an eye for an eye or tit for tat, but more about completing a cycle of growth for the soul, Barnett explained. Most of us will live at least 800 lives, and we get to do it all – and many times karma plays into our soul contracts with others.

“Very often, karma or completion of growth does play into our contracts with other people, and usually what I see is we will write three to six contracts around intimate relationships,” she noted. “Since we are beings of free will on Earth, we get to choose and create as we go. We set up these contracts, and we can choose to ignore every one of them if we want to.”

Each of us is part of a soul family, and we have contracts to be connected, but it’s not always so easy for those to come to completion of for us to find each other. However, if we are feeling ready for a new relationship, or feeling lonely, and part of our intention is to find someone in 2014, we should know we have soul contracts available for us to find these people.

“Also, the vibration of the planet is getting higher, and more people are awakening to their spirituality, their divinity and to their oneness, so it’s actually getting easier to find a more spiritually centered partner,” she said.

Barnett also shared a prayer to clear karma on the call, which she said is all about forgiveness – of others as well as ourselves.

Brenni Larson: Feng Shui – Making Space to Move Forward in 2014

Did you know the space you live and work in is either raising or lowering your vibration and ability to manifest? Thanks to the art and science of feng shui, we can change our environment and the energy around us to work for us rather than against us.

Brenni Larson, feng shui expert and founder of the Feng Shui Messenger Academy joined Elevated Existence Magazine founder, Tammy Mastroberte, on the Living an Elevated Existence Mind, Body & Soul Summit to talk about feng shui and how it effects money, relationships and more!

“Feng shui combines science and mathematical formulas, and is rooted in nature,” Larson said on the call. “The masters who created feng shui based it on the way natural energy behaved and the effect it had on them. They used it for favorable locations for dwellings, and for balance and harmony.”

Larson revealed the four factors of feng shui:

Everything is energy.
Your space reflects your life.
Intention is foremost.
Use nature as your model.

“Feng shui is one-third of what the Chinese believe is luck,” Larson explained. “There is heaven luck, or what you are born with, such as being a good singer or having great bone structure; earth or man luck, which is the choices you make; and then feng shui, or the things that are surrounding you.”

She encouraged listeners to look around their space and at the walls to see what pictures are hung, who gave them the items, and if they like the person or not. Everything should be examined from the point of view of whether it is raising their vibration or lowering it, said Larson. She also had advice for those who feel “stuck.”

“When you move something you are moving energy. When people get stuck in their office, we will tell them to get up and move nine things. Pick up nine things, look at it and then move it somewhere else because you are changing energy and you are changing the thought in your brain to to go onto something else,” she shared.

Another big area that can keep us stuck in general or lower our vibration is clutter. Instead of saying “clear clutter,” Larson looks at the process as “making space.”

“You want to make space. Look especially at piles that are vertical because horizontal piles are better. Look around the office. How many things do you have on the walls, desks, chairs? Everything is having an impact on you. Set a timer for nine minutes a day, and clean one area,” she recommended.

One area of the house it’s most important to keep clear of clutter is around the front door because that is how energy or chi enters the house, she said. “You don’t want rickety front steps or a handrail missing, or have a color at your front door you hate,” Larson noted. “You want that area to be clean and clear to bring in that energy.”

Also, the health area of the bedroom and house should be clear of clutter, which his the center of a room or home from the doorway.

The Energy Map
Each room – or even an entire home – can be divided into nine sections representing various areas of our life, known in feng shui as a Bagua or energy map, said Larson. By standing at the front door of a home, or the door to a room, we can see where these nine sections are and take steps to clear and boost the energy in each.

“Lay the energy map out from the front door of your house or a door of the office,” she said. “Standing looking in, the wealth area will be the far left.”

The rest of the to row is fame and reputation, and partnerships or relationships (personal or business). Then the second or middle row is family, health, which is the very center, and creativity. The bottom sections from left to right are knowledge and spirituality, travel and helpful people. Each section is represented by different colors and elements, and if we are struggling in a certain area we could be missing a piece in that section.

For example, the health area of a room or home should not have a lot of plants because that is an earth element, said Larson. We want this area to be open, and she suggested placing a Swarovski crystal in the center of a house or office.

“A Swarovski crystal is faceted with a point at the bottom, and it expands out balancing and anchoring the energy for the health of your house,” she noted.

Start in the areas of the energy map where we have challenges – choosing three areas to work on. We may notice the same area in each room, as well as the overall house, is cluttered or missing something and that is why we are struggling.

For those struggling with money, if the wealth area – the far left from the doorway of a room or home – is cluttered, wealth can’t even find its way in, said Larson. The area should be cleaned, and she recommended burning incense to release the stuck energy. Only keep items in this area that are raising our vibration.

“The wealth area is a wood element, and water feeds wood, so put a plant in the wealth area and water it because that means it’s growing,” Larson noted. “That would be a feng shui adjustment. Also, you don’t want too much fire because fire burns up wood, and that will burn your wealth up.”

Increase Energy & Focus
For those who are looking to increase their energy and focus when working, Larson offered a few tips – especially for those working from a home office. First, set time zones where people know not to interrupt you, but also make sure to take frequent breaks.

“Every hour, no more than two, get up and if it’s nice outside go for a walk and get your body moving. Get your energy moving and wake up the brain,” she said.

We should also look around our workspace and make sure all the lights are working and bulbs are not burnt out. Just like in cartoons when a light bulb appears above a person’s head, the same is true with us, she noted.

“If your lightbulbs are not all working, its like in your brain the light bulb is not totally on,” she noted. “You want to be able to see things clearly and have light shine.”

Creating Wealth in Work
In a home office, it’s important to look at where our desk is placed. This is called a command position, said Larson.

“If you look at a dog, a dog would never lay with his back to the door or his nose up to a wall,” she said. “The best place for a desk is the farthest corner from the door where you are not in direct alignment with the door, but can see it. You want to be facing it.”

Also, when our back is to the door people can “sneak up from behind” or we can feel like someone can stab us in the back, which can cause health issues, Larson noted. And if we are have desk up against the wall, this is how we will feel in our business – like we are constantly against the wall with a deadline and things won’t flow smoothly to us. If there is no way to rearrange the situation, Larson recommends having something reflective so we can see the door behind us.

Additionally, the placement of things on our desk can make a difference and the bagua or energy map applies her as well. The far left is the wealth corner, so placing a plant there, coins or anything that reminds us of wealth is ideal. We could also write a wealth goal and place it there.

Margaret Ann Lembo: Chakras, Awakening & Manifesting

It is possible to design our own reality and live each day with prosperity, joy and complete health. With the power of focused intent, we can transform our life using the amazing energy within — the chakras.

Award-winning author Margaret Ann Lembo, whose books include “Chakra Awakening,” “The Essential Guide to Crystals, Minerals & Stones,” and “Color Your Life with Crystals: Your First Guide to Color, Crystals and Chakras,” joined Elevated Existence Magazine Founder, Tammy Mastroberte, on the Living an Elevated Existence Mind, Body & Soul Summit to talk about “Awakening Consciousness: Step into the New Year with Clarity and Divine Connection.”

“We have these seven energy centers that are almost like s storehouse of information for our thoughts and belief systems – and the belief systems are the most powerful – that hold the vibration of who we are,” Lembo explained on the call. “So we are constantly broadcasting our essence, our energy field, our belief systems and emotions through these energy centers.”

She gave listeners a brief overview of each chakra:

1st — Root Chakra – This is from the hip bone all the way to the soles of our feet, and the colors associated with it are red, brown, black and grey. This center holds the energy of stability and being a human being on the planet, as well as our belief systems for prosperity, right livelihood and things that have to do with food, shelter and water.

2nd – Sacral Chakra – Associated with the color orange, this chakra is all about our ability to create and give birth to a project, book or a beautiful meal. This vibration is about manifesting, taking action and moving forward, and is where many people have challenges, said Lembo. They have a great idea, but making it happen is another issue.

3rd – Solar Plexus Chakra – Represented by a golden, yellow light and is all about our self esteem and our self confidence. This chakra is about being comfortable to show our light and our magnificence in the world. This is a big one for a lot of people because many of us are walking around with self-esteem issues, said Lembo.

4th – Heart Chakra – This vibration is represented by green and pink, which is love, compassion and kindness. It is the energy of being able to be loving and allow yourself to be loved.

5th – Throat Chakra – It’s colors are pastel blue or turquoise, and the vibration is being able to express oneself and listen – to be heard and to hear.

6th – Third Eye Chakra – This represents our intuitive nature, and the colors are cobalt blue and Indigo. The vibration is about being intuitive and psychic.

7th – Crown Chakra – This is the golden globe of light around our head and connection with the divine, said Lembo.

Chakra_Awakening_final1-200x300We have beliefs and thought forms stored in each chakra, and when we become conscious of them, we can have an awakening, Lembo explained. For example, those who struggle with the ability to speak up for themselves will find these challenges in the throat and solar plexus chakras. By going back in time, and investigating our beliefs, and where they came from, we can bring them to the surface and transform them.

“We can awaken and realize it is old programming and old information that doesn’t apply now,” she said, comparing it to a computer system running an old and incompatible program. “Windows XP doesn’t work on the computer anymore if you have Windows 7 or 8. You have to buy a new program. This is the same as our programming from the past. We need to uninstall the old programs.”

These are easy to uninstall once we realize what they are, and making the conscious choice to change. An awakening is that easy, she said.

“We don’t often have to do much more than have the awakening and have the realization. Once we know where the source is and realize that was then and this is now, then we can make a conscious choice,” said Lembo. “Once we have the realization, it’s up to us to take action and replace that space with positive affirmations.”

Chakras & Manifesting
During the call, Lembo told listeners how our chakras store thought forms, and when it comes to the law of attraction, all of our thoughts produce energy because everything is energy.

“Energy is vibrating and all vibrations travel on a sound wave. All waves of energy travel in a circular direction, which is where the saying ‘what goes around comes around’ comes from, and it’s not just an expression,” she said. “If we really knew that, we would be very mindful of what kind of thought forms or emotions we are holding onto.”

Once we realize the thoughts we are broadcasting into the world – especially those that are worried or negative thoughts – we can pinpoint which chakra system might be associated with it, and work to change it.

“We can realize, ‘Ok, if this is a self esteem issue, and I’m going to work forward being more comfortable with shining my light, then today I can use some yellow clothing, and I can wear citrine crystal, and maybe some lemon-scented or citrus-scented perfume to constantly remind me to replace those negative thought forms with a positive thought form,’” Lembo explained.

Then we can begin broadcasting something like, “I am so excited that I am attracting people around me who totally support me and recognize how amazing I am, and likewise I am happy to do that for them and support their journey. We all can do that for each other.”

These thoughts versus negative ones, will help us begin attracting people like that into our lives, she explained. Another example is, “I am so lucky. I have so much prosperity in my life because of the work that I do,” and we can wear green clothes and an emerald ring, while using a peppermint scent.

Using Crystals & Stones
Lembo also shared a variety of crystals that can be used to change our energy in certain areas of our lives.

“The gemstones are tools that activate our energy and amplify it,” she shared.”

For example, to curb negative thoughts, and to ground ourselves to focus on where we really want to go, we can use hematite and black tourmaline – any black, brown or gray stones are good for this, she said.

Additionally, carnelian is good store for someone who wants to take action and get moving on something, as well as for those who procrastinate.

“You could hold it in your hand or wear a carnelian ring,” she noted. “Then we you look at it, you will remember to take action on that to-do list.”

Citrine is good for raising self-confidence, as well as golden topaz or golden calcite, and rose quartz is typically used for the heart, but Lembo also recommends green and pink tourmaline or emerald kunzite. Pink and green stones are usually associated with the heart chakra, she said.

For those working on issue with the throat chakra, blue topaz and aquamarine are ideal, and if we have to have a conversation, for help speaking our truth, amazonite and other pastel blue stones are good. She also reccommenede Lapis Lazuli or Amethyst for the third eye, which is associated with intuition or connecting to the divine, and for the crown chakra, clear quartz can offer clarity and connection with “all that is,” Lembo shared.

“Wear the stones as jewelry, or put it in under the pillowcase at night so we are working on awakening our consciousness even in the dream time,” she said. “Even on the nightstand is good.”

A New Year Intention Ritual
Setting intentions for a new year, is important, but Lembo adds an extra spin to the goal-setting or resolution process – clearing out the old to make space for the new.

“At the end of the year, and you still can do it at beginning, you need to get clear on what you are going to release. What are you not going to bring forward in time with you? What people, places, situations are not of the level of integrity, truth and honesty, and aren’t really serving your highest good that you want to leave behind? It doesn’t’ mean you don’t like them anymore, or don’t love them anymore. It’s just maybe not where your energy needs to be.”

Sometimes it’s just energetic and a matter of cutting the cord, she noted. We all have energetic cords or thought forms attached to people, places and situations, so we have to make a conscious choice to cut the cords. Lembo works with various archangels for assistance in the process.

“I ask Archangel Michael on my right-hand side to cut any cords that are not for my highest good, and the ones I specifically ask to be cut as well. Then I have Archangel Raphael on my left so he can drench me in emerald green healing salve to seal off or almost cauterize the places where those things were cut off my energy field or my emotional field so that way they can’t reattach.”

She also calls in Archangel Gabriel behind her and Archangel Uriel in front of her for more guidance and protection. The next step is to make a clear and concise list of what we want to achieve in the new year at all levels – emotional, mental, physical and spiritual.

“Write as many things as possible, up to 100, in a stream of consciousness process to get it out onto paper,” she said. “Handwriting is better for this then the computer. Then we can use crystals, aromatherapy and more to help them become a reality.”

She repeats the intention setting every solstice and equinox, but also keeps it in mind each and every day.
