VIDEO: Indigo Angel Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and Charles Virtue

Created specifically for indigo children and adults, the new Indigo Angel Oracle Cards deck includes a guidebook to explain each of the 44 cards, and bestselling author Doreen Virtue explains in the video below how her son – an indigo child himself – played a large role in its creation.

“We created the indigo angel deck as a support system for anyone who relates to being an indigo no matter how old or how young they are and for their caretakers and their loved ones,” says Virtue. “The Indigo Angel Oracle cards are a traditional dick of cards that you can use to give readings that are accurate for yourself and others, but it’s also so much more. It’s a teaching deck to help you to connect with your own indigo spirit so you can become a peaceful activist yourself for positive change.”

Editor’s Advice: How to Embrace Change

By Tammy Mastroberte, Founder, Elevated Existence Magazine

It’s easy to find security in the familiar. Even if we aren’t happy with our current situation, at least we know what to expect. Uncertainty makes us uncomfortable. It causes anxiety because we don’t always know what lies ahead.

Have you ever stayed in a relationship or a job because it was easier then taking the risk and making a change? Have you dreamed of starting your own business, going back to school or moving to a new city, but convinced yourself it’s not the right time, you’re too old, or it’s too difficult? Did you think to yourself, “what if I leave and I’m worse off then I am now?”

I’ve never been a big fan of change. I’m a Virgo, and we like stability and a clear plan. We like to know every roadblock that may be ahead of us before we even step foot on the path. When I was younger, it would throw my world off when my mother rearranged the furniture in the living room because it was no longer familiar to me.

But I’ve learned change is not only inevitable, it’s also necessary. We don’t grow standing still.

Deepak Chopra said, “Uncertainty is the fertile ground of pure creativity and freedom.” It’s through uncertainty that we create new circumstances in our lives, and often despite the fear we feel, the risk is worth the reward.

Here are a few tips for navigating and embracing change:

–Use a Powerful Affirmation: “Only good lies before me. The universe has my back and is always working toward my ultimate good. I trust the universe.” Write it on an index card and carry it with you. Post it on your mirror or computer, and look at it throughout the day. Even set a reminder in your cell phone to alert you a few times during the day. Take a deep breath and repeat it to yourself.

–Use Visualization – Imagine the outcome being favorable. Spend at least five minutes a day visualizing success and happiness when it comes to the change you are facing.

-Ask for ‘Elevated Help’ – in a previous Editor’s Advice column, I spoke about calling in ‘Elevated Reinforcements.’ When faced with a change or uncertainty, try this prayer: “Dear God – I call on my angels, guides, loved ones who have passed and all those in my soul family – only those of the highest vibration – to help me dissolve my fear and have faith in the outcome of  (insert change or situation). I am turning it over to you, and I ask you to help me be aware of signs you send my way to guide me to a successful and favorable outcome.”

–Be kind to Yourself – Change is not always easy, so we need to remember to take care of ourselves when going through it. Find time in your day to relax and let go. Take a bubble bath; curl up with a book and a cup of tea at the end of the day; or plan a dinner with good friends to lose yourself in laughter and be in the present moment.

Sometimes we have to just feel the fear and move forward despite it. As Neale Donald Walsch said, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” Push yourself today, and enjoy the growth tomorrow.

Advice From Sonia: Letting Intuition Be the Guide

Learning to listen to our intuition can be the most powerful resource we have to navigate the world around us

By Sonia Choquette

Intuition is your most powerful resource for living at the highest level in today’s modern world, and the greatest inventors, innovators, creative’s, artists and leaders throughout history heartily agree. Steve Jobs relied heavily on intuition to guide him to create Apple, the most successful company in the history of business. Einstein regularly attributed his intuition to the great discoveries he made in life, and Helen Keller said it was the most important sense of all.

Your inner voice protects you. It points you in the direction of opportunity, and leads you toward positive relationships – and away from those that aren’t. It saves you time, connects you with things you need and people who can enhance your life, and it can even protect your health. Intuition can also entertain you along the way, bringing you more joy. It is your internal GPS system, and serves to help you succeed and make life easier in every way. Best of all, it’s natural so everyone has it, including you.

So how can you tap into your intuition today?

Start by taking a few moments every day to breathe in deeply and relax. Notice where you are, what you hear, see, sense and feel, and what is taking your energy. Then turn your full attention inward and become aware of your inner voice. It can be a moment in the shower or just after parking your car at work. You can do it as you wash your hands before dinner or while you wait for the train home from work. It can even be done while folding laundry or watering your plants.

No matter where you are, as you get quiet, breathe in deeply and ask, “What is my intuition trying to tell me today? Or at this moment?” Don’t try to figure anything out. Don’t try too hard. There is no need to focus on any particular thing as you do this, unless you want to. Then, once you ask the question, simply listen to your heart, much like you would listen to a dear friend speaking to you on the phone.

It may take a moment or two for the mental chatter of the ego to quiet so you can hear.  Be patient. Relax and breathe as you listen. As you do, also become aware of any gut feelings, bright ideas, flashes, creative impulses or thoughts that may cross your mind. All of these are the calling cards of intuition. It’s important to pay attention, as they arise quickly and leave just as quickly, so practice being aware of their subtlety.

Also know intuitive feelings arise in many forms, and can even vary from day to day. You may hear them in your mind one day. The next day you may feel them, sense them, see them, or simply have a direct feeling as if to say, “I just know.” Or, all of the above.

Pay close attention to these subtle flashes of insight and intuition, in whatever guise they appear. One effective way to get good at this is to acknowledge all intuitive feelings and flashes out loud as they dance across your mind. That way, you capture them before they slip away. As the saying goes, “If you name it, you claim it.”

Once you acknowledge your intuition, allow yourself to fully absorb what your inner voice is saying. Let the message sink in. You will discover the more you give your intuition a valued voice in your life, the more it has to offer, and the better your life will be for it, in every way.
