Deepak Chopra is teaming up with his brother, Sanjiv (Sun-JEEV) Chopra to publish a memoir, “Brotherhood: A Tale of Faith, Big Dreams, and the Power of Persistence,” which will be published by Amazon.com’s new publishing operations.
Amazon.com has been slowly expanding its publishing sector, with filmmaker and actress, Penny Marshall, who signed a deal for her memoir last month. The company also has a deal with best-selling, self-help author Timothy Ferris, and even started an imprint for science fiction, fantasy and horror.
Chopra will still be publishing several books through Random House, according to the publishing company’s spokesman Stuart Applebaum, and has his own imprint with the company as well.
