Do you suffer from allergies to many common ingredients in skin care? Well so does actress, Emma Stone, who recently revealed she simply uses grapeseed oil from the drugstore instead of expensive creams and serums, Cosmopolitan reported. The best part? It’s only $5 per bottle!
The magazine asked Dr. Allan Izikson, a dermatologist with the New York Dermatology Group in Manhattan about the use of grapeseed oil, and he agreed it can be very effective.
“Grapeseed oil is a good natural emollient,” Dr. Izikson said in the article. “It helps to moisturize skin while protecting and healing from UV exposure and other daily stressors.” He also explained it could be a good choice for people with skin sensitive to allergies because it has no chemicals, dyes or fragrances, and is full of antioxidants, which can slow down the aging process and help skin look younger.
It also has anti-inflammatory properties, so it can help with acne-prone skin!
