The Chopra Center is launching another free 21-day meditation challenge starting this week, and best-selling author Deepak Chopra is offering tips on how to get the most out of a meditation practice.
The meditation challenge includes guided meditations that participants can listen to online, and he suggests finding a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Also, doing the practice in the morning and evening is best because it coincides with “our body’s quieter rhythms.” In fact, studies show morning meditations last longer than other times of the day.
Additionally, don’t feel you have to start with 30 minutes twice a day. Start with 15 and then gradually build up to a longer period of time.
